So sorry you lost your dear friend & son...We too lost our son due to a tragic vehicle accident 9 months ago. It's still so terrribly raw & painful to miss him!! Your words about Jeremy are so moving. We too have a special affinity for Michael the Archangel.  Our Aaron believed in angels & had a strong faith in God. We had a conversation a week b4 he died about how sad he would be when/if we (his parents) died- Then he was taken so suddenly.  3-4 months later I found out I have uterine cancer.  We had a special bond & could talk about anything. He was very gentle yet had so many problems. His sister had such a close bond with him too. His Dad is so devastated he spends alot of time at the place by the road where we have a cross & flowers & an angel to mark the spot. We had a balloon release on what would've been his 31st b-day last Juni. We are trying to plan what to do on his 'angel-versary' in Nov.  We've been thinking of a butterfly release or maybe a dove release.... I think some people think we're crazy for doing big celebrations or whatever 4 him - but he had such a sad life & now he's gone - & we just want to do something for him!! It's hard for anyone to understand unless they've lost a child also.  Just wanted you to know that someone somewhere understands what you feel too.   Sarah mom of Aaron Chavez
